
Gunfire erupted overnight as the weekend got off to a rocky start for two victims in the Westlake neighborhood.
Two men were in custody Saturday after two other men were shot.

The shooting occurred in the 400 block of Witmer Street at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Ricardo Acosta said.
Both victims, a man in his 40s and a 17-year-old juvenile, were hospitalized in stable condition, Acosta said.
The 17-year-old was driven to a hospital emergency room with a bullet wound to the leg, Acosta said. The man in his 40s was transported by ambulance.
Acosta said two suspects were in custody. Motives and other details were not immediately available.
