A man was killed when his compact vehicle slammed into a wall in the Whittier area.
The solo vehicle crash was reported at 7:39 p.m. Tuesday, in the 13800 block of Telegraph Road in unincorporated South Whittier, according to the California Highway Patrol online incident log.
The victim was a man in his early 40s, CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos said.
One person was hospitalized in unknown condition, Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Miguel Nellis said.
