One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in front of the landmark Pink’s Hot Dogs in Hollywood Wednesday afternoon, police said.

One of the vehicles slammed into parking meters in front of the hot dog stand at 709 N. La Brea Ave., but no one in the queue of customers waiting to order at the eatery was struck in the 2:20 p.m. crash, Los Angeles police Officer Nuria Vanegas said.

An image posted to social media showed the white sedan on the sidewalk between the curb and a line of patrons outside the famed business.

The Department of Transportation was summoned to tend to the downed meters, Vanegas said.

A message on the Pink’s Twitter account (@pinkshotdogs) read: “Thank goodness everyone is OK. Never before in 76 years. The Pink family thanks everyone for their concerns.”
