Enrique Carrillo faces one count of murder in connection with the death of Junior Jimenez, 21, of Los Angeles, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

He was expected to be arraigned Friday afternoon in Long Beach Superior Court, prosecutors said.

Carrillo was arrested Wednesday night and was being held on $1 million bail.

The fight occurred about 9:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of East 10th Street. Jimenez was hit with a bottle during the fight, Long Beach police said.

“Detectives are still investigating the motive that started the fight,” according to police.

Jimenez was taken to a hospital in critical condition, and died about 5 a.m. Wednesday, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
