Deputies Monday circulated security images of a man sought for robbing several businesses at gunpoint in the East Los Angeles area while wearing a Halloween mask.
The unidentified suspect has robbed several businesses in the area, riding a bicycle to his crime locations each time, according to the sheriff’s department.
“He enters the businesses with a handgun in one hand and a plastic grocery bag in the other,” a sheriff’s statement says. “He then retrieves a Halloween mask from the plastic bag and puts it on before entering the location.”
The security images show the face of a man who is outdoors and carrying a plastic bag while riding a bicycle. He’s described as Hispanic, 30-40 years old and about 5-foot-6, weighing around 160 pounds. He appeared to be riding a 10-speed bicycle.
