Three young men who robbed an 87-year-old man as he exercised near the Rose Bowl in Pasadena in March entered no contest pleas Tuesday and were immediately sentenced to three-year state prison terms.

Gabriel Anthony Mixco, 20, of Rowland Heights, Juan Antonio Medina Martinez, 19, of Rowland Heights, and Dominick Tobiah Guzman, 19, of Hacienda Heights, each pleaded no contest to one felony count of second-degree robbery, according to Deputy District Attorney Tamu Usher.

The victim was confronted just after 5 a.m. March 27 near the Rose Bowl on West Drive, north of Salvia Canyon Road. The octogenarian was shoved to the ground and his fanny pack was taken, according to the prosecutor.
