Sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a car in an unincorporated county section of Whittier on Sunday, authorities said.
The woman was discovered about 1:10 p.m. in a vehicle in the 8600 block of Bradwell Avenue, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Boese.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Boese.
Her name was withheld pending notification of kin.
Anyone with information on the dead woman was asked to call the sheriff’s homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.
