A home invasion robbery Friday in Rancho Palos Verdes left a resident injured, three men in custody, and a fourth man at large, authorities said.
The crime occurred about 9 a.m. on Cartier Drive near Crest Road, said sheriff’s Lt. Albert Ortiz of the Lomita Station.
Four men, one of them armed with a handgun, entered the residence, robbed the victims and fled, Ortiz said. The injured person was treated at the scene. Details of the injury were not immediately available.
Deputies sent to the area arrested one suspected invader near Hawthorne Boulevard and Ryan Community Park, Ortiz said.
Two others were arrested in a nearby canyon after they were spotted by a helicopter crew, Ortiz said. Deputies recovered a handgun and the stolen property, Ortiz said.
