A body was found in a burned vehicle Sunday in Cerritos.
The discovery was made at 7:47 a.m. in the 7800 block of Denni Street, Deputy Crystal Hernandez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
The victim was pronounced at the scene. The victim was male, but was burned so badly the race or age hasn’t been determined yet, ABC7 reports.
There are no obvious signs of foul play and the incident is being investigated as a potential accident, Lt. John Corina told ABC7.
The vehicle was registered to an address in La Palma, according to the network.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives asked anyone with any information regarding the death to call them at (323) 890-5500.
