A 12-year-old Long Beach autistic boy with the mental capacity of a 5-year-old went missing Thursday morning near the Los Angeles River.
Antonio Peter Miramontes was last seen at about 10 a.m. in the area of Mountain View Street and the Los Angeles riverbed, Long Beach police said. Miramontes does not have any money, identification or a cellphone.
He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark blue school uniform pants. He may respond to his first name Antonio or his middle name Peter.
