A 66-year-old man on a motorized scooter was killed in West Covina on Friday after he was struck by a car, police said.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Workman and Hollenbeck avenues, Covina Police Lt. Ric Walczak said.
The victim, an unidentified West Covina man, died later at a hospital from his injuries, Walczak said.
The 62-year-old female driver of a Toyota Sedan that hit the scooter stayed at the scene and was not arrested, he said.
Drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash, Walczak said.
