Seven people were injured, four of them critically, in a multi-vehicle crash Thursday in El Monte, according to authorities.
The crash at Peck Road and Ramona Boulevard was reported at 3:09 p.m., said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Chris Reade.
An El Monte Police dispatcher did not know how many vehicles were involved.
County fire paramedics treated seven people, Reade said. Four of them were in critical condition and three people had minor injuries, he said.
