
A bicyclist was killed in a crash in Huntington Beach, the coroner’s office said Sunday.
The bicyclist was later identified as Huntington Beach resident Richard Schultz, 75, according to the coroner’s office.

The crash occurred at 10:49 a.m. Saturday on Talbert Avenue, east of Beach Boulevard, where Schultz hit a fixed object and then the curb.
Paramedics rushed him to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead at 2:45 p.m. Saturday.
A watch commander for the Huntington Beach Police Department could not be reached for comment.
