Police were searching Thursday for a man who left more than $8,000 in the booth where he was dining at a restaurant on Century Boulevard near Los Angeles International Airport.
A photo of the man was released Wednesday by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The money was left on Dec. 19, according to detectives from the LAPD’s Pacific Division. If the man does not claim the money soon, it could be turned over to the person who found it, according to police.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the man whose money was found was asked to call Pacific Division detectives at (310) 482-6313.
