A 45-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Sunday in Marina del Rey, a sheriff’s sergeant said.
Deputies responded at about 12:15 p.m. to a report of a person down in the 14000 block of Panay Way, Detective Clarence Williams of the sheriff’s Marina del Rey Station said.
Upon arrival, they found the victim being medically treated by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel for an apparent gunshot wound to the torso, Williams said.
He was taken to a hospital, but an update on his condition was not made available.
