Two people were wounded Friday afternoon in a shooting in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Gunfire was reported about 4:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 39th Street, said Officer Matt Ludwig of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
The victims, whose ages, genders and conditions were not immediately available, were taken to a hospital, Ludwig said.
A two-door sedan was spotted leaving the scene, the officer said.
