Police in Seal Beach Monday issued a call for witnesses to a solo motorcycle crash that critically injured a 62-year-old Garden Grove man.
The crash occurred about 9:35 p.m. Sunday on Seal Beach Boulevard, near the on-ramp to the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway, Seal Beach police Sgt. Mike Henderson said.
The rider was treated by Orange County Fire Authority paramedics and taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he remains, Henderson said.
“Witnesses indicated that a dark-colored pickup truck was seen in the area of the accident and may or may not be involved,” Henderson said.
Anyone who witnessed the crash was urged to call Seal Beach police Officer Joe Garcia at (562) 799-4100, extension 1649, or Sgt. John Scott at the same number but extension 1625.
