The Los Angeles Police Department asked for the public’s help Wednesday to identify an armed man who robbed two gas stations — in Studio City and the Cahuenga Pass — in less than four hours.

The robberies took place on April 9 at 1:50 a.m. in the 12500 block of Ventura Boulevard near Whitsett Avenue in Studio City and at 5:40 a.m. in the 3700 block of Cahuenga Boulevard in the Cahuenga Pass, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

In both robberies, the suspect entered the gas station, confronted an employee with a gun, and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, 30 to 40, 5 feet 11, around 200 pounds, with a possible “lazy” left eye. He was last seen driving a red four- door 2015 Chevrolet Cruze with a sunroof.

Both robberies were captured on surveillance video.

LAPD North Hollywood Station robbery detectives asked anyone with any information regarding the robberies or the suspect to call them at (818) 754- 8424. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS. All tips can be submitted anonymously.
