A house fire in Panorama City Tuesday sent one person to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
The fire was reported at 5:43 p.m. in the 8900 block of Kester Avenue, between Nordhoff and Parthenia streets, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Thirty firefighters responded and knocked down the blaze in 15 minutes, Scott said.
Reports from the scene showed a man who appeared to be a senior citizen being taken to an ambulance.
Scott had no information on the severity of the victim’s injury.
