A mother and her daughter were released on bail Saturday after their arrest in connection with a fatal hit-and-run from April in Glendale.
Goar Davtyan, 67, was arrested just before 6 p.m. Friday in Glendale, according to the Glendale Police Department. Davytan had been a person of interest since the fatal crash on April 16 that killed 81-year-old Martiros Arutyunyan of Glendale.
Davtyan faces felony hit and run and felony vehicular manslaughter charges, according to police. She posted $50,000 bail and was released shortly after midnight.
Her 41-year-old daughter Alina Davtyan was also arrested as an alleged accessory to the crime and on suspicion of filing a false insurance claim. She posted $25,000 bail and was also released shortly after midnight.
Both are scheduled to be arraigned in Glendale Superior Court on May 17.
