Two men were injured in downtown Los Angeles by falling equipment, possibly a ventilation fan, where a television show called “Good Girls Revolt” was being filmed, authorities said Friday.
Firefighters went to 659 S. Spring St. about 8:40 p.m. Thursday and found one victim had suffered head trauma and the other a leg injury, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The equipment that fell might have been a ventilation fan, Humphrey said; crew members told reporters that the fan weighed an estimated 3,500 pounds.
The show being filmed is called “Good Girls Revolt,” an upcoming Amazon drama based on the staff of a 1960s newsroom, crew members said.
