A motorcyclist died Sunday after he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall in Huntington Beach, police said.

The solo motorcyclist was riding just before 11 a.m. eastbound on Warner Avenue when he apparently lost control as he approached Brightwater Drive and struck a cement wall, said Huntington Beach police Lt. Kent Ferrin.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, Ferrin said.

No other injuries were reported.

Police closed all eastbound lanes of Warner Avenue and diverted traffic onto Pacific Coast Highway until about 2:30 p.m., he said.
