Law enforcement officials Monday were trying to figure out who killed a man who was shot at a residence in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area of South Los Angeles.
Few details were available about the killing.
The shooting occurred at about 12:34 p.m. Sunday in the 6600 block of Holmes Avenue, according to Deputy Mike Barraza of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim, described only as a Hispanic man, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Barraza said.
