A Temecula man was in custody Friday on $1 million bail as a suspect in the shooting of another man in Burbank, police said.
Christian Taylor Young, 20, was arrested at his home Thursday night and booked on suspicion of attempted murder, Burbank police Sgt. Claudio Losacco said.
Young was expected to appear in court on Monday.
It happened about 8:20 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Scott Road, according to Losacco.
Officers sent to the scene found a 22-year-old Burbank man lying on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body, Losacco said.
He was treated at a hospital and released. Investigators later discovered another man — a 27-year-old Burbank resident — had been shot at, but not struck, during the shooting, Losacco said.
“Based on the information obtained, detectives learned the suspect and the victims know each other and this incident stemmed from an altercation between them a few days before the shooting,” Losacco said.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call Burbank police Detective John Kaefer at (818) 238-3210, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
