A taco truck struck the center divider of the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood Monday morning, sending debris flying onto the northbound and southbound lanes and prompting a full freeway closure, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 3:08 a.m. on the northbound Hollywood Freeway north of Cahuenga Boulevard, said California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig.

Debris from the crash flew onto the northbound and southbound freeway lanes, Kravig said. A SigAlert was issued at about 3:30 a.m. shutting down all northbound and southbound lanes so the debris could be picked up. The southbound side was reopened at about 4:15 a.m. but northbound lanes 1, 2 and 3 remained closed. All lanes were reopened about 6 a.m., the CHP reported.

No injuries were reported, Kravig said.
