A suspect was wounded Monday in an officer-involved shooting in Torrance.
No officers were injured in the shooting, which occurred about 2:35 p.m. at Cabrillo Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard, according to Torrance police Sgt. Paul Kranke.
The suspect was taken to a hospital, Kranke said, but that individual’s condition, gender and age were not immediately available.
A report from the scene showed a vehicle with apparent bullet holes in its windows outside a gas station.
The intersection was closed and police advised the public to avoid the area as they conducted an investigation.
