Police asked for the public’s help Sunday to find a missing 82-year-old woman who suffers from dementia and apparently walked away from her nursing home in Valley Glen.
Katharina Fritz Linzer was last seen at the Windsor Gardens Healthcare Center of the Valley, 13000 Victory Blvd. around 7 p.m. Saturday, according to Los Angeles police. That address is on Victory just west of Coldwater Canyon Boulevard.
Police interviewed the staff who told them the woman was at the center but they didn’t know where she went.
Linzer has gray hair and gray eyes. She stands about 5 feet-7 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She left the center without money, her medication or any means of transportation.
Police asked anyone with information on her to call the LAPD’s Van Nuys station at (818) 374-9500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
