
Four people were airlifted to a hospital Saturday from a multiple-vehicle collision on the Orange (57) Freeway in Pomona, authorities said.
It was reported at 1:38 p.m. on the southbound Orange Freeway south of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The four victims suffered traumatic injuries, Los Angeles County Fire Department , CHPDispatch Supervisor Art Marrujo said.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 2:14 p.m. closing lanes 2 and 3 of the southbound 57 Freeway north of the 10 Freeway for its investigation and cleanup. The lanes were reopened at 4:10 p.m.
