Law enforcement authorities Monday asked for the public’s help in tracking down the pajama-party killer who murdered one man and wounded two others in a midnight adult melee over the weekend in Carson.
The two wounded men were hospitalized but expected to survive. The party was apparently open to people who would pay at the door to participate.
The violence broke out at the gathering in the 100 block of West Victoria Street, where about 80 to 100 people were attending the party, according to Lisa Jansen of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Davion Gregory, 24, died at a hospital about two hours after the shooting just before midnight Saturday, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His home town was not known.
Deputies sent to the Victoria Street address on an “assault with a deadly weapon” call found three men suffering from gunshot wounds to their upper bodies, Deputy Caroline Rodriguez said.
The gathering was described as an adult-themed pajama party, according to NBC4.
The surviving victims were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials did not disclose any information about the killer. Sheriff’s homicide detectives asked anyone with information regarding the shooting to call (323) 890-5500.
