A shooting at a Pomona bar Wednesday left a man dead and a woman wounded a few minutes after last call for drinks.

Shots rang out just after the bartender stopped serving alcohol at 2 a.m. at the Back Door Bar, 1250 Mission Blvd., according to police.

There was no immediate word of a motive in the hunt for the killer. Authorities did not disclose any further information about a possible argument or any relationship between the gunman and his victims.

The murdered man, who was in his 40s, died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. The victim’s name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
