Authorities Sunday were trying to determine what caused a vehicle to crash through a work site on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway near San Dimas and injure two workers.
It happened at 8:12 p.m. Saturday on the westbound San Bernardino Freeway at Via Verde, said California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
It was a freeway construction zone but the workers were not Caltrans employees, Kravig said.
One worker was taken by helicopter to a trauma center and the other was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Robert Diaz.
