A suspicious package prompted the evacuation of a move theater in Santa Clarita Wednesday before a sheriff’s bomb squad determined it was no threat.
The item was found about 2:50 p.m. in the arcade area of the Edwards Canyon Country Stadium 10 at 18800 Soledad Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The theater was evacuated and the Sheriff’s Arson-Explosive Detail was called in to investigate.
A bomb squad robot was seen entering the theater.
The item was found to be no threat and the all-clear was given about 7:30 p.m., a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
