Los Angeles County Fire Department helicopters were busy Saturday, hoisting two patients in the Agoura Hills area within about one hour, authorities said.

At 12:26 p.m. the first chopper was called to 446 S. Topanga Canyon Blvd. where a woman about 60 years old had fallen near the side of a creek near a trail behind a market, LACFD Dispatch Supervisor Cheryl Sims said.

Firefighters hiked into the area to assist in the rescue near large boulders, Sims said. The woman was airlifted to safety and there was no indication she was taken to a hospital for treatment.

At 1:23 p.m., a helicopter responded to the 31200 block of Mulholland Highway where a motorcyclist had crashed into a guardrail, Sims said.

That patient was airlifted to a hospital, Sims said.
