Manhattan Beach police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 40-year-old woman with a medical condition who hasn’t been seen since March 15.
Ann Shenkler, 40, is described as a 5-foot-3-inch, 110-pound Asian woman with short brown hair and brown eyes. Shenkler mailed her car keys and storage unit keys to friends before disappearing, and police believe she left voluntarily.
Her family reported her missing Tuesday, and Shenkler sent some type of message to friends and relatives Thursday morning, police said.
Police said Shenkler has a medical condition — which they did not identify — and family and friends are “concerned for her well-being.” Shenkler previously lived in Playa del Rey, but it was unclear where she currently resides.
