A motorcyclist was killed Thursday in a collision with a big rig on a freeway connector road in Monterey Park.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. on the transition from the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway to the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The man, in his 30s, died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office. His name was withheld pending notification of his relatives.
The connector road was closed for about two hours while an investigation was conducted.
