Police Monday hunted the two killers of a 23-year-old victim who was shot to death in the parking lot of a CVS drug store parking lot in a residential area of Palms.
The shooting was reported in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot at Sepulveda and National boulevards, police said. Officers arriving at the scene found the victim, 23-year-old Antonio Cornwell, lying in the parking lot, where paramedics pronounced him dead from gunshot wounds.
Police asked for public help from anyone with information about the case.
Police said two killers were involved in the murder, but a witness reported seeing one suspect fleeing in a dark compact SUV going northbound through the parking lot, police said.
