A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in an unincorporated area bordering South Los Angeles, authorities said Saturday.
The shooting occurred at 9:56 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of West 90th Street near Budlong Avenue, according to Deputy Kimberly Alexander of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Information Bureau.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene, Alexander said.
Authorities were looking for a male suspect driving a light-colored small SUV, Alexander said.
The motive for the shooting was under investigation.
