Police Friday sought the public’s help in locating a 19-year-old man diagnosed with schizophrenia who went missing in South Los Angeles last week.
Mathew Alonzo Taylor was last seen about 9 a.m. on June 8 in the 1400 block of West 65th Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Taylor is black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray shirt, gray cargo pants, blue sandals and white socks.
Anyone with information regarding the young man’s whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800.
After-hours or weekend calls should be directed to (877) LAPD-24-7 and anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
