Two men and a woman — all in their 20s — were being treated Tuesday after they were critically injured in a two-vehicle crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Mission Hills.
Two patients were ejected and one was trapped in the wreckage of the crash, which was reported about 7:45 p.m. Monday on the southbound side of the freeway near Devonshire Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The victims — a 22-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman — were all in one vehicle, the LAFD’s Margaret Stewart said.
They were taken to a hospital, she said.
Only one southbound lane was open as rescuers responded to the crash.
