A brush fire Tuesday ignited in the Glen Avon area, burning about 30 to 35 acres and razing one structure.
The fire was reported at 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and Jurupa Road, said Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department.
A barn-type structure was burned by the fire, but no evacuations were ordered, she said.
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies closed Pedley Road between Jurupa Road and 54th Street while firefighters battled the blaze.
