Police put out a call Wednesday for witnesses to come forward to help explain the death of a man found bleeding in an alley behind a bar in Seal Beach.

James Tinsman, 46, of Seal Beach was found unconscious and bleeding Tuesday in an alley behind Clancy’s bar at 111 Main St., according to Seal Beach police Sgt. Michael Henderson.

Tinsman was taken to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, Henderson said.
