A woman killed in an Inglewood shooting was publicly identified Saturday.
Ruby Zepeda, 44, was homeless, said coroner’s Lt. Brian Kim.
The shooting, which also seriously injured a man, took place Tuesday, said Inglewood police Sgt. Jeff LaGreek.
Officers were flagged down by the victims at 11:24 p.m. at a gas station in the area of Manchester Boulevard and Ash Avenue, LaGreek said.
The shooting happened in the 100 block of Ash Avenue and the victims drove to the gas station for help, he added. The gunman was on foot, he said.
The victims were taken to a hospital where the woman identified as Zepeda died and the man was listed in serious but stable condition, LaGreek said.
A suspect description was not available.
