A multi-vehicle crash Thursday left one person injured and closed a section of Malibu Canyon Road north of Pacific Coast Highway in the Malibu area, authorities said.
The crash was reported shortly before 8 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics took a person to a hospital for treatment in unknown condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The roadway was closed between Civic Center Way and Piuma Road, the city of Malibu reported.
