Two men killed in La Puente were each shot at least one time, authorities said Sunday.
The double homicide was reported at 8:15 p.m. Saturday in the 18800 block of Elizondo Street, according to Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, Moody said. Their names were withheld pending notification of family.
“The murder weapon was not recovered,” he said. “There is no suspect description at this time.”
