A man was found shot to death Monday in the Vermont Square area of South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Police learned of the body in the 1700 block of West 52nd Street at about 1:40 a.m., said Sgt. Thomas Bojorquez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station.
No witnesses immediately came forward to report gunshots in the area, Bojorquez said. Homicide detectives are canvassing the scene for evidence and witnesses, he said.
