Whether it was an accidental fall, suicide or murder, the Coroner’s Office has released the name of a 24-year-old man who died after falling from a 12th story apartment in the Westlake area near downtown Los Angeles.
The man was identified as Andrew Eliseo Giron, of Los Angeles, said Investigator Rudy Molano of the coroner’s office.
The fall was reported at 5:45 p.m. Saturday at Wilshire and Rampart boulevards, according to Sgt. M. Williams of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Station.
An autopsy is expected to be completed later Sunday or Monday morning, Molano said. Officials did not speculate about the cause of the fall. It could have been accidental, suicide or even possibly murder.
