Three people, including one young girl, were shot Monday evening on a street in South Los Angeles, a sheriff’s sergeant said.
The attack took place shortly after 6 p.m. on West 105th Street and Denker Avenue, sheriff’s Sgt. Mark Sumi.
The two adults were both men and the girl was a juvenile, Sumi said. Her age was not immediately available.
The victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of their gunshot wounds and two were in surgery as of 8 p.m., Sumi said.
A motive for the shootings was unknown.
The sheriff’s department has no suspect description so far.
