Authorities Friday identified a man who was shot and killed in Sylmar.
The gunfire was reported about 9 p.m. Thursday in the 13600 block of Simshaw Avenue, said Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
Gregory Baltazar, 31, of Sylmar died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported. No suspect description was available.
