A person was struck by a Metrolink train and killed Thursday evening in Northridge.
The victim was struck about 6:30 p.m. near the 16900 block of Roscoe Boulevard, near Balboa Boulevard, according to Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Ventura County Line Train 121 to Moorpark was stopped between the Van Nuys and Northridge stations, according to Metrolink.
