Coroner’s officials Saturday released the name of a 21- year-old motorist who was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Long Beach.
The crash occurred about 2:45 a.m. Friday on Shoreline Drive, east of the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Anthony Melendez, 21, of Ontario died at the scene, said Lt. Dave Smith of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
